The new Kosovo ambassador, Lirim Greiçevci, presented his credentials to King Willem-AlexanderThe Hague, 17 October 2018 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo, H.E. Lirim Greiçevci, presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. The ceremony at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague began with the intonation of Kosovo's anthem by the Royal Orchestra and the review by the Ambassador of the Honour Guard.
Ambassador Greiçevci then presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty the King after which he held a meeting with The King. On this occasion, the Ambassador conveyed greetings from President Thaçi of Kosovo and expressed special thanks for the support of the Netherlands and the excellent relations between the two countries. At the same time, Ambassador Greciçevci expressed his commitment to further strengthen the bilateral relations.
At the credentials ceremony, Ambassador Greiçevci was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Lindita Greiçevci, as well as embassy diplomats: Mr. Besnik Ramadanaj, Counsillor, Mrs. Yllka Geci, First Secretary and Colonel Ahmet Ajeti, Defense Attaché.
Next year in February, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in the Kingdom of the Netherlands marks 10 years since its opening. The Kingdom of the Netherlands is the 23rd country that recognized Kosovo's independence, namely on March 4, 2008.
