Muhamedin Kullashi

Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Paris

Born in Peja (Kosovo) on 29 November 1949

2009: appointed ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in France

2008: appointed Chargé d’affaires of the Republic of Kosovo in France

2002: elected associate member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of Kosovo

1994: viva voce of accreditation to supervise research (HDR) attended at Paris 8 University. Members of the examining board were: Claude Lefort, Jacques Rancière, Jacques Poulain, Gérard Raulet and Michel Roux

1992: senior lecturer in the Philosophy Department, Paris 8 University

1992: Cofounder of the Kosovo Committee in Paris with Antoine Garapon, Olivier Mongin and Pierre Hassner

1991: dismissed from Prishtina University together with other Albanian colleagues by the Serbian regime

1984-1988: chief editor of the philosophical and sociological review “Thema” published in Prishtina

1983: viva voce of doctoral thesis (PhD) in Contemporary Philosophy on Henri Lefebvre’s conception of metaphilosophy, attended at the Zagreb Faculty of Philosophy

1974-1991: senior lecturer in the Philosophy and Sociology Department of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prishtina University
